Thanks!

Wow! Thank you everybody for helping me out here. You all seem very friendly and even though you don't know me, seem very supportive. I'm usually pretty computer savvy. I spend a lot of time on Myspace and Facebook, but have never blogged before. And I wasn't sure how to recieve comments, but I guess it does make sense to comment on others first. Anyway thank you Marla for getting me started. Since I dont get to see and talk to you regularly, I love reading what's going on your life and how you are feeling. I'm so glad you have found an outlet for yourself and so many new wonderful friends! Hope to see you soon. I love you dearly :)
Sorry it has taken me this long to get on and write something. But like now, just as soon as I get to typing, I hear the little one through the baby monitor. I'll be back to post some pictures soon. Thanks again.

  1. Hi Arlene! Marla is a very good person and enjoy reading her blog too.
I've been at this for more than a year now and I still don't know the in's and out's with blogger. I just learn as I go along.
I find it amazing how quickly we become friends in this cyper-space community.
Take care of your son and I can't wait to see him. Lisa

  8. I've been blogging for 8 years and it took me forever to figure out how to post here! So don't get in a hurry to "learn" everything. Number One on posting: Do It Often
Number Two on posting: Do it for yourself. Have no one in mind or you'll feel you have to entertain them to keep them coming back. Write what is on your mind with no thoughts to how it will appear to others.

If you are honest with yourself, everyone will feel a kinship with you and return just for the friendship.

My job here is finished. lol

  9. Hi Marla, you are doing good! And if you can do MySpace you sure can do Blogger real easily. I have a MySpace that I hardly use at all. I have all of six friends. One is my sone, then Britany Spears, a local singer, and a couple of other people I have never met.
Nobody who reads my blog ever visits my MySpace.

I helped a preacher friend in blogging but I don't think he has anything going, at least he didn't e-mail me. We went to the book store and he got "Blogging for Dummies." I looked at it, it is all about using Blogger.

I'll check you again soon. If you aren't, then please come visit my blogs.

  10. Welcome to the world of blogging!
I have friends who use it as their own therapy - a daily or weekly venting of whatever is on their minds.
Mine is usually pictures of the cats, the flowers, the occasional snow flake. (note that was singular!) Personally, I try to avoid politics or heavy duty religion - but to each their own. Mostly, enjoy it and don't let it become a chore!

  11. Enjoy that little guy. They grow up way to fast. My baby is 34 with a soon-to-be-16 year old daughter and a 10 year old son. I remember holding him and not wanting to put him down thinking that soon he would join his 2 older sisters, who were 5 & 6, on their way to school.
